Miles are calculated using ALK PC*Miler set with the following parameters for all miles loaded or empty:

4 cents additional when hauling a placarded shipment

Drivers are compensated for all customer deliveries and/or pick-ups including the first and last stop.

How Drivers Are Compensated:
- Drivers receive handling pay in addition to mileage and stop pay.
- Freight requiring securement or unsecurement pays $1 per 1,000 pounds.
- Any hazmat placard load is an extra $.04/mile
What is Blocking and Unblocking?
- Securing freight in the trailer using blocks, with or without tools like a nail gun or crowbar.
Example:
Securing/unsecuring a 10,000-pound forklift earns an additional $10.
