Miles are calculated using ALK PC*Miler set with the following parameters for all miles loaded or empty:
TERMINAL ZONE RATE
$0.56 per mile*
GREEN ZONE RATE
$0.65 per mile*
RED ZONE RATE
$0.68 per mile*
* Based on 3 years experience
4 cents additional when hauling a placarded shipment
Drivers are compensated for all customer deliveries and/or pick-ups including the first and last stop.

Handling Pay paid in addition to Mileage and Stop Pay
How our drivers are compensated:
Freight requiring securement and unsecurement will pay $1 per 1,000 pounds.
What is Blocking and Unblocking:
In the trailer securing freight with blocks; with or without a nail gun or crowbar.
Example:
If securing/unsecuring a 8,000 pound forklift, the driver will be paid an additional $8 to secure the forklift.
