Vacation pay is paid at an average of your gross earnings from the prior year. So as an example a driver earning $80,000 a year will have roughly $1,538.46 for their vacation check after 1 year.
Time-off requests are an automated process with instant approval in some circumstances.
Our drivers are typically home every week. Home time may be more frequent depending on where you live and the route you are assigned. We are proud to say that the majority of our drivers are home every week. Depending on the length of haul, break downs, delays, weather, etc. some load assignments may require extended time out.
Knowing the demands of our profession, we are very aware of the home time and family needs of our drivers. We provide easy access to personal time off with instant approval under certain circumstances. Instant approval occurs with proper notice (7 days) and previously submitted times off requests for the day from our total driver roster does not exceed 5%.
All drivers are offered a 48 hour reset if they wish. Additional time off would need to be preauthorized.

Dental benefits include 100% coverage for Preventative services, 90% for Basic services and 50% for Major services. Coverage includes a per person/per year $50 deductible and a maximum benefit of $1,000. The plan has a $2,000 lifetime maximum on Orthodontics.

Short Term Disability coverage for the first 90 days of disability at no cost.
Voluntary Long Term Disability coverage at 90 days of disability pays up to 60% or $6000 of your gross wages per month.
The group AD&D voluntary benefit includes coverage up to $250,000 in $10,000 increments. Coverage can include the employee, spouse and children.
This voluntary insurance provides benefits when injuries, medical treatment and/or services occur as a result of a covered accident. With this coverage, you will receive payments with a covered injury and you can use the payment any way you choose, from expenses not covered by your major medical plan, to day to day costs of living such as the mortgage or utility bills.
Facing a serious illness can be devastating, both emotionally and financially. Major medical insurance may pick up most of the tab but can still leave you with out of pocket expenses that add up quickly. This voluntary critical illness coverage can provide a lump sum benefit upon diagnosis that can be used however you choose, from expenses related to treatment or day to day costs of living.
Those with healthcare coverage are eligible for COBRA reimbursement for the first 60 days of employment. A copy of a COBRA invoice and proof of payment is required.
Drivers are eligible for a quarterly safety bonus providing there are no preventable accidents, no CSA violations, no tickets and safety training is completed for that quarter. Failure to report an accident would be considered a disqualification of the bonus. The bonus will be paid at $0.01 per mile.
If an employee refers a full time driver and the driver is hired, the referring employee will receive a $5,000 bonus. The bonus will be paid out in $1,000 increments once the new driver reaches the 2 month, 4 month, 6 month, 9 month and 12 month service dates.
