​Designed for drivers who have their Class A CDL but no experience.

• Must be 21 years of age
• Have Class A CDL
• Live within 60 miles of Cheeseman Transport’s Fort Recovery, Ohio terminal

Positions available after the Apprentice Program:

• Local (Home Daily)
• Regional Plus (home 1-2 times per week)
• Regional (home weekly)
• OTR (home 2-3 times per month)

About the Apprentice Program

• 10-12 weeks long
• Paid $150/day (5-6 days per week)
• Training mixed between regional and local settings with access to multiple trainers
• Double bunk trucks for regional training
• Hotel option once per week to allow space
• Evaluation forms given to both the trainer and trainee to complete during the training process
