Job Description

We have full time positions available for diesel mechanics at our Ft. Recovery facility Shift.

Days and hours would be:

  • 1st Shift Monday - Friday
  • 2nd Shift Monday - Friday
  • 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday
  • Can work 4 - 10 Hour Shifts or 5 - 8 Hour Shifts
  • Hourly rate: $23 and up (based on knowledge and experience, this also included a 15% shift differential)

Job duties would include (but not limited to):

1. Preventative maintenance on equipment

2. Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems

3. Perform repairs as needed or directed

4. DOT inspections

5. Complete necessary paperwork on equipment and work performed

6. Maintain clean and safe work environment

7. Ensure completed work meets federal and state codes/regulations

8. Work collaboratively with other Technicians to evaluate and repair equipment

9. Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess prior truck repair and engine experience.  They should also have experience in servicing trailers and heavy duty repairs including brakes, electrical, metal fabrication and welding.
