Job Description

The Safety Manager will support our Recruiting, HR, and Safety departments. This is a full-time

leadership position responsible for overseeing fleet safety, driver relations, and compliance programs to

ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Manage driver relations and retention initiatives

 Oversee fleet safety programs to maintain regulatory compliance and reduce risk

 Provide supervision, coaching, and training in safety, corrective action, and company policies

 Conduct accident investigations and report findings to insurance carriers

 Enforce company policies and procedures consistently across the organization

 Assist with hiring and termination processes in coordination with HR

 Review dash camera videos to identify safety concerns and provide targeted training

 Apply problem-solving, decision-making, and multi-tasking skills to support operations

 Collaborate across departments to promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous

improvement

Experience and Qualifications

 Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

 One year of prior instruction or training experience preferred but not required

 Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus

 Previous experience in transportation safety, fleet management, or human resources beneficial

Skills and Abilities

 Strong Computer skills, navigating through multiple programs

 Strong written and oral communication, teamwork, and presentation skills

 Ability to multi-task and adapt under pressure

 Flexible and able to adapt to a constantly changing work environment

 Demonstrated skills in supervision, interpersonal communication, and human resources
